Hiatus from Oregon Politics

After her unsuccessful bid for governor of Oregon, Norma Paulus was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to oversee the first democratic elections of the Philippines. Following that appointment, Paulus served on the Northwest Power and Conservation Council which oversees the land use and power conservation efforts of the northwest, emcompassing four states: Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana.
