Burns, Oregon

Norma Paulus was born in Belgrade, Nebraska on March 3rd, 1933. Her family moved west during the Great Depression to the small Eastern Oregon town of Burns and lived there through her high school years.  In 1950, after graduating from Burns Union High School, Paulus started a job as a secretary for the Harney County District Attorney, her first foray into the world of law and politics.
