Title

Textile Fragment with Two Registers of Dancers with Lozenge Borders

Description

This textile fragment features two registers with several dancer figures. Both registers are bordered on top and bottom by a pattern of lozenge shapes. The dancers face opposite directions between each register. Much of the stitching that creates the fine details in the figures and lozenge shapes has been removed, leaving many figures and shapes without decoration.
