Hurricane Katrina Book Display

Since August 29th, 2005, artists, photographers, and writers have been responding to Hurricane Katrina and her impact on the Gulf Coast region. A collection of books reflecting these responses can be seen in the display cases on the second floor of Eaton Hall through December, 2010.
Various genres are represented in this collection: poetry, fiction, drama, short stories, essays, mysteries, fantasy, romance, photography books, art exhibition catalogs, graphic novels, comics, children’s books, personal narratives, and even food writing.
Willamette University’s Humanities & Fine Arts Librarian, Doreen Simonsen, created this display. She also created a list of these books, which may be found in either the Mark O. Hatfield Library or within the Summit or WorldCat collections.
