Electronic Reserves
Reserve Request Forms
Brief items such as journal articles, book chapters, and digital files may be placed on electronic reserve.
Due to high volume at the beginning of the semester, items submitted during the first two weeks of class may take up to seven days to process. Faculty are urged to submit as early as possible any materials that will be used during the first two weeks of class.
After the second week of the semester, please submit electronic reserve materials at least two days in advance of student need. Reserve items are processed in the order received. Rush processing may be available in certain instances.
For legal and practical reasons, at the end of each semester materials are removed from electronic reserve and originals are returned to the faculty member. Faculty wishing to use the same materials in a subsequent semester must consider fair use requirements before re-submitting the materials. For questions about fair use and electronic reserves, contact Michael Spalti, mspalti@willamette.edu.
Photocopies submitted by faculty are scanned to PDF files and made available to students enrolled in the course. To read the scanned material students will need access to the Adobe Acrobat reader or equivalent software. Past exams are also available electronically. Any registered Willamette University student may access these exam materials.
