Willamette University has an Ingenta site license to help you stay up-to-date on the latest information in your fields of interest.

Ingenta offers an automated alerting service that delivers periodical tables of contents directly to your e-mail.

Reveal research alerts allow you to select from the over 20,000 titles indexed in Ingenta, and when the latest issue is added to the Ingenta database, the tables of contents are sent to you via e-mail. Additionally, the service permits you to create search strategies that are run against the entire Ingenta database on a weekly basis. Alerts on the latest articles available on the specified topics are sent to your e-mail address. Reveal will also provide weekly alerts for the latest books published in your areas of interest. After reviewing the e-mailed citations, you can selectively order articles by simply marking t he articles you want and forwarding the message to ill@willamette.edu.

Training on how to use this electronic service will be provided by each departments's liaison librarian at the Hatfield Library. Hatfield's librarians can help faculty design a personalized search of newly published literature by scanning specific journal's table of contents and searching journal articles based on keywords of particular interest to each subscriber. Hatfield's liaison librarians will also be able to show faculty how they can arrange for delivery of journal articles that are not already available from the Library's collection.
