The Hatfield Library Consortium is named in honor of Oregon's Mark O. Hatfield who, during his distinguished career, held positions as a Naval
Officer, Willamette University Professor and Dean of Students, Member of
the Oregon House and Senate, Secretary of State for Oregon, Governor of
Oregon and United States Senator.
Senator Hatfield's dedication to public service serves as the
inspiration for the Hatfield Library Consortium which seeks to build
mutually beneficial ties between Oregon state government and the
Willamette University community.

The Hatfield Library Consortium Catalog includes more than a half million bibliographic records, offering efficient research and information access to such diverse users as Oregon Department of Justice attorneys, Oregon legislative staff researchers, and Willamette University students and faculty.
