Access Policy

Access Restrictions

Some materials are not open to researchers, or are closed for a set amount of time.  [ more ]

Requesting Materials

Researchers are not allowed to browse within the archives, but can work with finding aids or staff to determine which records they would like to examine.  [ more ]

Reading Room Regulations

All Archives material must be examined in the Reading Room, which is open to all Willamette users and community users who agree to abide by the regulations.  [ more ]

Care and Handling of Materials

In order to preserve and maintain the integrity of archival items, researchers are asked to take precautions when examining materials.  [ more ]

Remote Research

Staff members are happy to help answer questions submitted by mail, telephone or e-mail.  [ more ]

Reproduction Services

Depending on an item's ability to be reproduced, the Archives department will copy or scan items for a fee.  [ more ]
